Ramadan is the most important season of the year for many Saudi businesses. Spending rises, screen time rises, and so does competition for attention. Advertising costs climb as everyone launches at once — which is why the preparation you do before the month matters more than what you do during it.
8 weeks before: plan and build
- Decide your Ramadan offer: bundles, iftar and suhoor menus, gift boxes, Umrah packages or Eid collections
- Update your Google Business Profile with Ramadan hours
- Fix your website and store: speed, mobile checkout, WhatsApp button
- Book photography and video for Ramadan content
- Build your customer list — past buyers are your cheapest Ramadan sales
4 weeks before: create and test
- Write the content calendar for all 30 days, plus Eid
- Produce reels and short video — Ramadan audiences watch more of it
- Start small test campaigns to learn which audiences and creatives work, while costs are still lower
- Prepare WhatsApp quick replies for the questions you’ll get most
1 week before: warm up your audience
- Announce your Ramadan offer to past customers on WhatsApp
- Post a “Ramadan is coming” series on social media
- Scale the campaigns that worked in testing
During Ramadan
Time your posts and ads around the evening, after iftar and late at night, when people are most active online. Keep an eye on stock and delivery times, answer WhatsApp quickly, and shift budget to the best-performing ads every few days.
The last ten nights and Eid
Gifting and Eid shopping peak toward the end of the month. Make sure your Eid offers and delivery cut-off dates are clear well before Eid.
After Eid
Send a thank-you message to every customer, ask for reviews, and note what worked. That list becomes the start of next year’s plan.
